Story:

Hi, I'm Michael! I'm an instructional designer and eLearning developer who loves to create immersive, story-driven eLearning.

Funny enough, I don't have a teaching background. I actually spent the last 7 years working in the marketing field. (starting to think this is a big plus when it comes to creating engaging eLearning!)

I started with copywriting, then expanded to design, animation, and video editing. I've always worked either on the freelancer side (actually creating) or the creative direction side (managing a team of creators).

Towards the middle of 2019. I started developing interest in online courses and took on my first projects helping consultants create their online courses.

Then, at the beginning of 2020, when Covid hit, suddenly all of my clients needed an online course. Dozens of people asked me if I can help them create their course, and that's how my journey continuted.

My background allowed me to handle all the hard, time-consuming, technical aspects of creating a course, and people really loved it. For the entirety of 2020, I probably created about a dozen video-based courses for different experts and organizations.

Then, in 2021, I decided to focus on working with companies and creating eLearning that delivers business results and doesn't bore people to death. I was mentored by Devlin Peck on my journey to mastering Articulate Storyline and becoming a well-rounded instructional designer.
